Fannie Mae has publicly replaced the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) for loans as of October 15th, 2010 with new Appraiser Independence Requirements. Lincoln Appraisal & Settlement Services is pleased to confirm our compliance with all aspects of the Appraiser Independence Requirements and we ensure appraiser independence in all our business operations:
- All Lincoln Appraisal & Settlement Services' corporate policies and procedures fulfill Appraiser Independence Requirements.
- All Lincoln Appraisal & Settlement Services employees have been educated and are certified in the Appraiser Independence Requirements process.
All appraisal reports obtained and delivered by Lincoln Appraisal & Settlement Services will be in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP), Fannie Mae, FHA, FIRREIA and all state guidelines as applicable.
