Lincoln Appraisal & Settlement Services is an Appraisal Management Company (AMC) as defined by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. We are licensed to provide appraisal management services in all states that require state licensure. As new states adopt AMC licensing requirements, Lincoln Appraisal will obtain all new state licenses as needed.
Lincoln Appraisal promotes and supports appraiser independence. Our employees our educated and trained to adhere to all federal and state laws and agency guidelines ensuring an independent appraisal value.
We support and follow the Dodd-Frank Bill, Fannie Mae’s Appraiser Independence Policy (AIP), formerly HVCC, as well FHA and other agency independence policies.
Our company believes that by following all federal laws, state regulations and agency guidelines Lincoln Appraisal will continue to raise the standard for quality real estate valuations.
